Celebrate with us
We would love to invite you to join us in celebrating our wedding.
After marrying in August 2023 in the beautiful town of Lihue, Hawaii, we are excited to celebrate our love with our closest friends and family. And what better place to do so than the very place where we first met—beautiful Sicily, surrounded by delicious pizza, pistachio ice cream, good vibes, and music.
What’s Up
Rather than a traditional wedding, we’d love to make this a relaxed celebration over a few days with our friends and loved ones from all around the world. A chance to unwind, chat, party, and explore the island together.
The main event will be on Monday, June 9th, but we invite anyone who’s interested to join us for some fun adventures in the days leading up to it!
Location
Baglio Occhipinti, located in the calmer southwest of the island, will not only be the venue for our wedding celebration but also the hub for all our activities. It will be the perfect place to relax, unwind, and even celebrate a few recent birthdays the day after the party!
Just over an hour from Noto and half an hour from the nearest beach, Baglio Occhipinti is a charming sustainable farmstay that grows and produces traditional Sicilian food and wine.
It’s surrounded by beautiful vineyards and the hospitality of the owner Fausta Occhipinti will make you feel home immediately.

The Event
When we were looking for our venue, we had just two non-negotiables: first, the ability to party until the sun rises, and second, that the pool would be open anytime—day AND night—during our stay.
The actual event will kick off in the early evening and go until the very last dance. Please come hungry and thirsty. There will be plenty of food and drinks.
We love entertainment and appreciate speeches or other performances, but we’d like to skip the traditional wedding games.
That time of the year days in Sicily can be in the high 70s (around 30°C), but it can get a little chilly in the evenings. So, along with your dancing shoes, don’t forget to pack a light jacket and a change of clothes—just in case you’re tempted by the pool!
To make sure our little guests have as much fun as their parents, we’ll have nannies on-site to keep the kiddos entertained and well looked after.
The Overview
Date: June 9th 2025
Location: Baglio Occhipiniti
Start: Early evening (TBC)
End: Open End
Dress code: In style yet comfortable
Kids: Nannie service will be provided, so no excuse not to party ;)

Presents: All we truly wish for is that you embrace the adventure, take on the hustle, and join us in Sicily to celebrate. Your presence is the greatest gift we could ever ask for—so no need for anything extra!
That said, we’re lucky to be surrounded by so many talented and creative friends. If you’d like to contribute in any way—be it through your skills, ideas, or talents—we’d be thrilled to have your help in making this celebration truly magical.
Speeches/Games: Speeches and/or performances are welcomed but please stay away from traditional wedding games.
Logistics
Where do we best fly to?
The most convenient airport for reaching Baglio Occhipinti is Comiso Airport (CIY), located approximately 5 kilometers away, making for a brief 10-minute drive to the estate. Since flights are limited to Comiso, our recommendation would be to fly to Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), which is about 95 kilometers from Baglio Occhipinti, translating to roughly a 75-minute drive. Palermo Airport (PMO) is another option; however, it is approximately a 3-hour drive from the estate. If you plan to explore areas like Taormina and wish to extend your stay, flying into Palermo might be advantageous.
Do we need to rent a car?
Sicily is best experienced by car. While we’ll arrange shuttle services for planned activities and, of course, to and from the big celebration, we highly recommend renting a car, especially for groups. It’s the perfect way to explore the island at your own pace and move between accommodations with ease.
But where to stay?
While some of us can stay at the estate for the four days, there are quite a few hotels and airbnb’s in proximity within a couple of minutes drive.
Below a few options that were recommended to us.
